Prison Tree Derby
This huge tree is believed to be around 1,500 years old and has a girth of 14.7 metres. It was used as staging point for prisoners being walked into Derby in the early days.
Derby Pier
Derby is located on the edge of King Sound and has the highest tidal range of any port in Australia. Visit the pier at low tide and you will wonder why on earth it is even there, but watch as the tide floods in from seemingly miles away and you soon discover why the pier is so high.
